The Assistant Secretary-General is accountable to the Under Secretary-General for Internal Oversight Services and supports the overall leadership and management of the activities of the Office of Internal Oversight Services. 
 
The preferred candidate will have a track record of managing programmes, people and resources, as well as technical leadership.
